Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a warehouse selector for our foodservice distribution team in Houston. You will select cases and containers from multi-level racks, load pallets with an electric pallet jack/forklift, wrap and stage orders for shipment, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, performing equipment safety checks, achieving productivity targets, and handling paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must have previous foodservice/beverage warehouse selection experience.
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures and maintain safe work area.
• Review schedule, gather supplies and perform safety checks on equipment.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack, locate products, and prepare for shipping.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock; may shrink-wrap for staging.
• Complete paperwork and secure equipment at end of shift.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills

Foodservice warehouse experience

EPJ certification

Able to lift 10-35 lbs regularly

Able to lift up to 60-100 lbs

Education

High School Diploma or GED
