Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a sales professional to develop independent account business and drive profitability through new sales and account penetration. You will promote company-branded products and work to meet brand sales objectives while supporting service for regional and national chains.

The role emphasizes territory analysis, strategic presentations, and collaboration with center personnel to ensure delivery and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop independent account business with emphasis on profitability through new sales and account penetration.
• Promote and sell company branded products and meet brand sales objectives.
• Support customer service for regional/national chain customers to maximize market share.
• Generate additional business by analyzing sales territory and presenting effective sales plans.
