Job summary

Cash-Wa Distributing is seeking a Sales Training Manager to develop and manage training for new outside food sales area managers and ongoing programs to support sales growth. The role partners with various departments and vendors to deliver effective classroom and field training.

The candidate should bring a Bachelor’s degree in Business and 5+ years of related experience, including at least 6 months in supervision, with strong program development and communication skills to drive engagement and

Qualifications

• Training experience, including 1 year of people management experience.
• Must be comfortable in dynamic environment with ambiguity and frequent changes.
• Project management experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
• Ability to moderate large groups and lead initiatives with minimal guidance.
• Developing and facilitating sales training programs; street sales and sales management experience in foodservice distribution, or restaurant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the business to address current and future sales force needs; review and enhance training programs to improve engagement and retention.
• Coordinate training with departments to ensure trainees are prepared.
• Present and train sales associates; conduct or facilitate training sessions.
• Supplement Training Manual with local product-specific programs.
• Plan, schedule and facilitate training programs; review and improve programs.
