Job summary

Cash-Wa Distributing seeks a Sales Training Manager to train and develop our outside food sales area managers and provide ongoing education to drive sales growth. The role is centered in the Kearney, Nebraska office with regular travel across the region to Omaha and Cheyenne.

You will assess performance, implement new training programs, and maintain training materials and records. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of training or sales development experience, strong project management skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Sales, Marketing, Communication) is required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in sales training or development.
• At least 6 months of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong project management and organizational skills; PMP is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization; experience moderating large groups.

Responsibilities

• Train, develop and manage sales associates and field personnel.
• Plan, schedule and facilitate training programs and sessions.
• Coordinate with departments to align training with market needs.
• Develop local training material to supplement manuals; work in classroom and field settings.
• Partner with vendors for external training programs when needed.
• Maintain training documentation and track performance improvements.
