Performance Food Group (Performance Foodservice) is seeking a sales professional in the Baton Rouge, LA area to develop independent account business and increase market share. You will promote company-branded products, pursue new sales, and support regional/national accounts as needed.

The role emphasizes profitability, territory management, and customer service, with opportunities for commissions, monthly/annual bonuses, and recognition for top performers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6-12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Speak Spanish Fluently.

Responsibilities

• Generates additional business through analyzing sales territory and customers; samples products; plans general sales strategy and territory management; conducts effective sales presentations.
• Grows sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Sets up new customer accounts and coordinates with Credit for initial authorization and scheduling.
• Ensures customer satisfaction by coordinating with center personnel and resolving problems.
• Builds additional business with current customers through product penetration to maximize profitability.
• Monitors accounts receivable to ensure compliance with credit terms.
• Keeps aware of pricing trends to ensure competitive pricing.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
