Job summary

Sysco North Texas is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote Sysco products and services across a defined territory. You will build and manage relationships with new and existing accounts, aiming to meet sales and profit targets while working some non-traditional hours.

You will develop new business, penetrate accounts, and tailor solutions to customer needs while coordinating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years relevant experience (Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales)
• Experience in outside sales and account development is preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office and general PC skills

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth within assigned territory.
• Seek and qualify prospects according to company goals.
• Research customer needs and propose products/services accordingly.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events; manage orders and delivery coordination.
• Communicate and collect accounts receivable as needed with credit department.
• Attend district meetings and participate in ongoing training and development.
