Job summary

Sysco Kansas City, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant for the US region. The role focuses on promoting Sysco products and services, building new relationships and strengthening existing accounts to achieve sales and profit goals.

You may work non-traditional hours and travel up to 50%. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or a comparable combination of education and experience, plus strong sales skills and bilingual capabilities are a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in restaurant management, B2B or outside sales preferred.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to grow sales.
• Research customer needs and tailor product/service mix accordingly.
• Explain product value, features, prices, and availability to customers.
• Drive own vehicle to customer accounts, events, and meetings.
• Coordinate with credit to collect balances as per terms.
• Support training and onboarding of new sales staff.
