Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote our products and services within Hershey, PA, Lebanon, PA, and surrounding markets. The role focuses on building relationships with new and existing accounts while meeting sales and profit goals.

The position requires occasional evening, weekend, and holiday hours and offers a competitive base salary, bonus, promotional incentives, and comprehensive benefits including a car allowance and cell phone.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relatable experience including Sysco Sales Internship.
• Bi-Lingual preferred.
• Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, Chef Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet needs.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers based on business needs and goals.
• Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as value-added service.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, company meetings, etc.
• Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client.
• Manage deliveries to routing schedules and troubleshoot issues.

HSD/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience or equivalent
