Job summary

Sysco in Hawaii is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote our products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts. The role may require non-traditional hours to meet customer needs across the territory.

You will develop new business, qualify prospects, and tailor product solutions while learning market trends. A strong sales mindset, training, and some travel are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relatable sales/restaurant management experience.
• Experience in B2B or outside sales is preferred.
• Bi-lingual and restaurant/foodservice sales background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor solutions.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to accounts and events as required.
• Manage deliveries per routing schedule and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare sales budgets, reports, credits, quotes, and menu recommendations.
• Attend district meetings and participate in ongoing training.
• Assist with training of new employees as requested.
