Brown Foodservice, Inc. is seeking a Direct Sales Representative to sell food products and supplies at customer sites, grow existing accounts, and qualify new business. You will report to the area sales manager and manage daily activities largely solo, supporting the company’s legacy of service since 1942.

The role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 annually, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth. Travel to customer locations and events is expected.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years foodservice management or sales experience; minimum 1 year outside foodservice is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Mansioni

• Call on existing and potential customers to identify needs and respond to questions about products, pricing, availability, uses and training.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer locations and events.
• Plan and organize schedule to call on leads and grow accounts.
• Coordinate with customers and transport to schedule deliveries.
• Manage accounts receivable and credit terms with customers and the Credit Department.
• Attend sales trainings, meetings, and customer events; support training of new employees.
• Review sales reports to identify areas needing attention to meet goals.
• Perform routine administrative duties and handle credits and pickup requests.
• Collaborate with the team to develop menus, enhance social media presence, and provide value-added services.
