Job summary

Brown Foodservice, Inc. is seeking a Direct Sales Representative to sell food products at customer locations and grow existing accounts while pursuing new business opportunities.

You will report to the sales manager and spend much of the day calling on customers, driving your own vehicle, and coordinating deliveries. The role offers a competitive base salary of $60,000–$70,000 annually, with experience-based adjustments and opportunities to train staff and develop menus and social media

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Business, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing and potential customers to identify needs and answer questions about products, pricing, and training.
• Drive to customer locations, conventions, and meetings.
• Plan and organize schedule to call on leads and manage accounts.
• Coordinate with customers and transportation to schedule deliveries.
• Manage accounts receivable and coordinate with Credit Department on terms and payments.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and customer events.
• Assist with training new employees as needed.
• Analyze sales reports to target goals and adjust strategies.
• Perform administrative duties like processing credits and filing reports.
• Help develop menus and enhance customers' social media presence.
• Other duties as assigned.
