Job summary

Baker Distributing Company LLC is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to support Southern Ice Equipment in growing food service lines. You will provide sales and technical support, pricing information, and inventory management while delivering strong customer service.

Responsibilities include showroom merchandising, order processing, upselling, and coordinating with outside sales teams to drive growth. A high school diploma and familiarity with HVAC equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent education or experience may be considered.
• Experience with HVAC equipment and/or foodservice equipment preferred.
• Background in sales, operations, purchasing, or inventory management preferred.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills with emphasis on customer service and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing Company and Southern Ice Equipment to maximize sales.
• Interact with internal and outside salespeople, vendors, contractors, and customers.
• Assist in showroom merchandising and restocking of products.
• Complete sales orders and upsell related foodservice items.
• Provide customer product and service information via research and catalogs.
