Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist all customers with order entries and inquiries regarding the company. You will keep customers satisfied with the distributor and accommodate them as best possible, solving problems and responding promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent.
• 6–12 months of customer service, call center, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders and credits accurately and promptly.
• Input order and invoicing information correctly.
• Assist customers with orders and problems; contact vendors for samples.
• Provide professional assistance when dealing with the public, customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Perform daily administrative tasks such as checking faxes and mail, handling samples and special orders.
• Will Call orders and intercompany order processing.
