Job summary

Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, seeks a Customer Service representative to assist customers with orders and inquiries, ensuring satisfaction and timely responses. Sunday–Thursday schedule, with duties including order entry, problem resolution, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities include processing orders, handling invoicing data, and providing professional support to customers, vendors, and co-workers; training attendance and related duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6 - 12 months customer service, call center and / or related area.
• Preferred qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 1 - 2 years customer service, call center and / or related area within foodservice industry.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders and/or credits in the system accurately.
• Input order and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist customers with orders and problems; contact vendors for samples.
• Provide informative and professional assistance when interacting with the public, customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Perform daily administrative duties such as checking faxes and mail, writing sample requests and special orders.
• Attend training and Customer Service meetings; perform related duties as assigned.
