In this field-based role, you will cultivate trusted relationships with operators across K–12, colleges, healthcare and non-commercial segments, working with Account Executives and distributors to drive volume growth. Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset with a “win as a team” approach.
• Ability to work independently from a remote office while meeting customers in the field.
• Proven ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and close sales.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree; 2+ years in foodservice, sales, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with foodservice operators in the Columbia metro area.
• Identify and close opportunities to generate incremental volume for General Mills.
• Sell General Mills Foodservice products and solutions to new and existing customers.
• Partner with Account Executives and Distributor reps to uncover opportunities and drive pull-through demand.
• Plan activity with Salesforce and Firefly; prioritize prospects and convert opportunities.
• Execute geographic call patterns with at least 16 in-person visits per week.
• Support distributor and industry events such as Food Shows and Distributor Sales Meetings.
• Manage territory with urgency, strategic focus, and follow-through.
