Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a reliable Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our food distribution environment in Bay Shore, NY. You will lead a team, emphasize safety and food-safety standards, and maintain inventory accuracy while ensuring on-time order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include supervising receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping; coordinating with production, purchasing, quality, and logistics teams; and maintaining clean, organized, and safe warehouse records

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse or supervisory role
• Preferably in the food industry
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Inventory control knowledge (FIFO/FEFO, lot tracking)
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping
• Train, schedule, and supervise warehouse staff
• Maintain inventory accuracy and product rotation
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, temperature control and quality standards
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, quality and logistics teams
• Maintain records for inventory, shipping, receiving, and food safety
