Job summary

The Stephen Longfellow Academy invites applications for a Curriculum Leader of Food Technology. You will lead the department, shape the curriculum for KS3 and KS4, and drive teaching excellence to secure exceptional student outcomes.

You will build a culture of high aspiration, innovation and continuous improvement, while leading enrichment and community partnerships to broaden opportunities for all students.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Food Technology teaching with strong KS3/KS4 outcomes.
• Outstanding classroom practitioner able to inspire students of all abilities.
• Vision and leadership to drive strategic development in the department.
• Strong understanding of curriculum developments and educational practice.
• Ability to use assessment data to monitor progress and raise achievement.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the department and drive teaching excellence.
• Develop curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 and monitor student achievement.
• Lead enrichment activities and strengthen community partnerships.
• Foster a culture of professional excellence and collaborative working.
