Job summary

Lift Kingswood is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join a high-performing team. You will plan engaging lessons, track student progress, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues, pastoral staff and parents to meet every student’s needs and build confidence.

You will pursue QTS through our in-house Instructor training route, with a commitment to developing the next generation of science teachers within Lift Schools.

Qualifications

• Have QTS, or are currently training and due to achieve QTS by September 2026 or hold a degree in a science based subject and would like to transition into teaching through our in-house Instructor training route, leading to securing qualified teacher status within two years.
• Have a genuine passion for teaching Science and a love for the subject
• Have a desire to make a difference to young people's lives
• Are committed to great relationships and high-quality teaching
• Want to work in a school where hard work is supported and valued

About The Role

As a Science Teacher at Kingswood Academy, you'll create a learning environment where all students feel supported and encouraged. You'll plan engaging lessons, track student progress, and provide helpful feedback. Working closely with colleagues, pastoral staff, and parents, you'll help meet the needs of every student and build their confidence.
