Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Planner to support our clients' supply planning team in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting. You will collaborate with full-time planners to manage forecasts, inventory, and supply operations, ensuring smooth production and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include updating forecasts, managing materials, aligning with production schedules, and creating planning reports.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in supply chain or planning (food/CPG preferred).
• Strong Excel skills and ERP/MRP experience.
• Organized, detail-focused, and good at managing time.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain forecasts using sales data and market trends.
• Prepare weekly/monthly forecast reports.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and flag major changes.
• Help manage raw material and packaging supply.
• Track inventory to avoid shortages or excess.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers on deliveries.
• Align supply plans with production schedules.
• Keep planning data accurate in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Update production schedules based on capacity or material changes.
• Collect and analyze short-term demand/supply data.
• Identify and report risks like shortages or demand spikes.
• Work with teams across planning, manufacturing, logistics, and procurement.
• Prepare dashboards, KPIs, and meeting materials.
• Create and maintain planning reports and metrics.
• Handle data entry and system updates.
• Support planning meetings with data prep and formatting.
