Job summary

Kettle Cuisine, LLC. in Lynn, MA is hiring a Shipper for the 1st shift. The role runs 7:00 AM–3:00 PM in Lynn, MA, focusing on shipping, billing, and cycle-count duties to support production and distribution of high-quality foods.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of manufacturing experience in the food industry, experience with perishable items, and the ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience in food industry required
• Experience working in temperature controlled settings preferred
• Experience with perishable items preferred
• Proven track record in safe working practices
• Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment
• Able to lift 50 lbs and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Bi-lingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safe working practices at all times
• Load vehicles timely, accurately and efficiently
• Complete nightly cycle-counts
• Ensure bill of ladings are completed accurately and on-time
• Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes
• Take active lead with new employees and temporary labor
• Pack customer samples correctly and ship accurately
• Follow up on all orders daily and assist on lead time
