Job summary

Kettle Cuisine LLC in Lynn, MA is hiring a Shipper for 1st shift to support shipping, billing and cycle counts. You will load vehicles, prepare bills of lading, and maintain ERP records while upholding GMPs and safety standards. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and operate a pallet jack or forklift.

We offer a starting hourly wage around $19, plus a 5% bonus target and a comprehensive benefits package in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Experience working in temperature-controlled settings.
• Proven track record in safe working practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Goal oriented, well organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a pallet jack / forklift.
• Bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles timely, accurately and efficiently.
• Perform daily checks of area for non-compliance and report to your manager.
• Ensure bill of ladings are completed accurately and on-time.
• Complete nightly cycle-counts.
• Follow GMPs and maintain a clean shipping office at all times.
• Plan ahead to reduce downtime and record data in ERP.
• Take active lead with new employees and temporary labor.
• Pack customer samples correctly and ship accurately for customer shipments from production stock via UPS/FedEx.
• Communicate any issues to planning and other relevant parties.

The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Lynn, MA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. The Shipper position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
