Job summary

BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX is looking for an evening-shift, part-time Dietary Food Services Worker to join our patient meal service team. You will assist with preparation, service, and sanitation of meals in a hospital setting, ensuring accuracy with dietary orders and quality standards.

No prior experience is required. Texas Food Handler Certification is required within 30 days of hire; ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare, institutional food service, or high-volume food production (preferred).
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification (preferred or obtainable within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• The Food Services Worker performs a variety of routine tasks in the preparation, assembly, service, and sanitation of food in support of patient meal delivery, retail dining, and catering operations within a hospital setting.
• This role ensures compliance with physician-ordered therapeutic diets, food safety regulations, infection prevention standards, and hospital policies.
• The Food Services Worker contributes to patient satisfaction and quality outcomes through safe, timely, and accurate meal service.
