Job summary

BayCare Health System in Dunedin is seeking a PRN Food Service Associate to provide patient and guest meals with a focus on quality and safety. You will maintain a clean kitchen, assemble and deliver trays, and assist with catering events.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to liaise with patients, physicians, and staff. Preferred candidates have at least 6 months in food services or customer service; a HS diploma or GED is appreciated.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in food services or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment.
• May prepare food or drink items, assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events and perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas.
• Receive and store food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles.
• Act as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
