Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater is seeking a dedicated food service team member to provide outstanding service to patients, guests and families by joining our Food and Nutrition Services team.

This part-time, evening position (4pm–8pm, Shift 2) requires 6 months in food services or customer service, a HS Diploma or GED (preferred), and strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, plus basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in food services or customer service.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers and maintain a sanitary environment.
• Prepare food or drink items, assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events.
• Receive and store food and supplies using FIFO principles.
• Act as liaison between patients, guests, physicians and Food and Nutrition Services.
• Perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers. Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment. May prepare food or drink items, assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events and perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas. Receive and store food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles. Act as a liaison between, patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services. Perform other duties as assigned.
