Job summary

Oak Park Place seeks an Assistant Director of Food Services to support the Director in delivering quality meals and nutritional services for residents. You will supervise day-to-day staff activities, ensure compliance with policies and federal/state requirements, and help plan cycle menus.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and maintaining high food safety standards to meet resident needs and Oak Park Place values.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher is required.
• Current ServSafe certification is required.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Two years or more related dining/nutrition experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct assistant to the Director of Food Services ensuring quality meals and nutritional services.
• Supervise day-to-day activities performed by department staff.
• Assist in following Oak Park Place policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Lead staff development and in-service training; plan cycle menus.
• Ensure quality control of food trays and maintain inventory and supplies.
