Job summary

Grand Lake Health System is seeking a casual Food Service Worker for 1st and 2nd shifts (5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.), as needed per pay period. Duties include assembling patient trays, serving cafeteria customers, and maintaining cleanup and portion control.

Responsibilities also cover labeling and dating items, transporting trays, and warewashing in a clean, safe kitchen. A high school diploma is preferred, with food service experience valued.

Qualifications

• Weekend rotation is required.
• Experience in a food service environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily activities to ensure timely service and cleanup of meals.
• Assemble patient trays according to established procedure and serve cafeteria customers.
• Transport trays to patient units and return dirty tray conveyors.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work area and perform ware washing as required.
