Job summary

Judge Rotenberg Educational Center in Canton, MA is seeking an entry-level food service assistant. The role reports to the Food Services Director, Chef, and involves food preparation and distribution. A full-time schedule includes evenings, days, and weekends; non-exempt status with a 40-hour work week.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic math, and English reading/writing ability; prior food service experience is preferred and food safety certification is encouraged.

Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.00 Hourly

This is an entry-level position reporting to the Food Services Director, Chef. Responsibilities include food preparation and distribution, following an individual daily schedule, assigned checklist, and any miscellaneous assigned activities. It is a full time (40 hours per week) position, paid on a non-exempt basis. Standard workweek will consist of a varying schedule of evenings, days and weekends.
