Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participates in the preparation for, and the setup of, individual trays for food distribution.
• Sets-up for meal service, takes food orders, serves residents and cleans dining rooms.
• Operates dishwashing machine, food disposal, toaster and heat on demand unit.
• Assists with passing of trays, collecting of trays and cleaning tables and chairs in patient areas.
• Stocks all work areas and unit kitchenettes.
• Cleans all floor areas in dining rooms, kitchen and dishwashing areas.
• May be involved in cooking or otherwise preparing foods as directed by cook or dietary team.
• Trains new employees as needed.
• Performs extra cleaning assignments as directed by shift leaders.

• Cleans all floor areas in dining rooms, kitchen and dishwashing areas.
• May be involved in cooking or otherwise preparing foods as directed by cook, chef, or dietary management team.
• Exercises responsibility for training new employees.
• Performs extra cleaning assignments as directed by shift leaders or dietary management team.
• May be involved in procedures for receiving, documenting, and tray preparation relating to both regular and special diets.
