Mfinite Consulting is seeking Food Service Workers / Dietary Aides to support tray assembly, dining room service, and resident-facing meal support for veterans at the New Hampshire Veterans Home. The role requires careful attention to dietary requirements and safe handling of meals.

This on-site position offers teamwork with kitchen staff, opportunities to assist elderly residents, and a focus on food safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow dietary requirements and tray tickets.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push carts.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Comfortable working with elderly/veteran residents, including memory-care populations.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors depending on event needs.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver meal trays according to resident dietary requirements
• Provide dining room and tray service support, including resident‑facing meal assistance
• Assist with food prep tasks as directed by the Cook or Kitchen Supervisor
• Clean and sanitize dining and food‑prep surfaces, tables, and chairs
• Support meal service flow and communicate resident needs to kitchen staff

Requirements

• Prior food service experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow directions accurately (dietary restrictions, tray tickets)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push carts
• ServSafe certification a plus
• Comfortable working directly with elderly/veteran residents, including a memory‑care population
• Ability to work indoors and/or outdoors depending on event needs

Screening & Compliance (required prior to start, per NHVH contract terms)

• Criminal background check (National Criminal Records Check or NH Release of Criminal Record Authorization)
• BEAS State Registry check
• OIG Exclusion List Screening (initial + monthly re‑screening)Conviction Disclosure Annual Attestation
• Fitness‑for‑duty attestation; physical/drug test as applicable
• NHVH policy and procedure review/attestation (at hire and annually)
• Candidates may not be former NHVH employees without prior NHVH approval
