Food Service Worker - Rock Eagle - Temporary

Responsibilities

• 35% Serve food at the dining hall; set up buffet lines and serve individual plates; interact with customers from young children to senior citizens.
• 35% Clean and sanitize the work area, operate a commercial dishwasher; clean chairs, tables, and service lines; sweep and mop floors; clean windows, baseboards, blinds; walkways and walls of food service building.
• 20% Assist cooks in preparing and cooking food; assist with preparation of menu items.
• 10% Other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Work involves preparing and serving food and cleaning food service areas. Employees work under direct supervision, follow written and/or oral procedures and practices, and implement these procedures, methods, and activities developed by others.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification

Some experience in kitchen work.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Skilled in reading, writing, and simple math. Ability to follow written and oral directions.

Physical Demands

Lifting food items, up to 25 pounds, and prolonged standing for food preparation. Driving is required.

Background Investigation and Drug Test
