We are hiring immediately for a part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

Location: Becton Dickinson Vernon Hills - 75 North Fairway Drive, Vernon Hills, IL 60061. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations following safety standards.
• Stores food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes supplies and utensils.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Serves customers courteously and efficiently.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
