Job summary

Community First Medical Center is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to support patient and staff meals in the cafeteria and related areas. You will prepare and serve food safely, maintain sanitation, and assist in training new staff as needed.

You will work 3pm–7pm with rotating weekends and holidays, and join a team that emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Some experience in food services or hospitality industry preferred.
• Computer Skills

Job description

The Food Service Worker performs a variety of functions and tasks pertinent to the production, service, sanitation, and distribution of food to both patients and employees. A Food Service Worker may work in various areas of the cafeteria department such as patient tray line, dish room, pots and pans, sanitation, cafeteria and storeroom.

This opportunity is Part- Time

3pm - 7pm with rotating weekends/Holidays

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that proper food service is provided correctly to patients and employees.
• Prepares and serves food in a safe and sanitary manner ensuring all safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
• Follow the assigned cleaning procedures and cleaning schedules.
• Cross train in various food service worker positions and assists in the proper training and orientation of new staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
