Food Service Worker II (Late Night)

Salary: $16.73 per hour

Work Schedule: 4-day 40-hour week; shift hours 4:30 PM-3:30 AM, including weekends

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide limited supervision to subordinate food service workers, instructing them in dining hall techniques and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure patrons are served in a pleasant and courteous manner.
• Assist cooks and kitchen personnel with tasks such as cleaning and paring vegetables, washing dishes, serving from a serving line, sweeping floors, and cleaning tables.
• Care for food service equipment, including meat slicer, mixing machine, and steam cookers.
• Perform additional related work as assigned by management.

Physical Demands

• Move loads up to 50 lbs; push/pull items up to 30 lbs.
• Perform repetitive motions of wrists, arms, and shoulders; reach, climb, balance, crouch, twist, crawl, and kneel.
• Work in noisy, hot/cold environments with chemicals, cleaning equipment, dust, fumes, and odors.
• Work long hours standing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of related food service experience.
