Food Service Worker I (Late Night)
Position begins mid‑May and offers a 40‑hour week within a 4‑day schedule, including weekends. Shift hours range between 4:30 PM and 3:30 AM. Compensation is $16.587 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Assist cooks and kitchen personnel with cleaning, preparing, and serving foods; wash dishes; serve from a serving line; clean tables; sweep floors.
- Maintain neatness and cleanliness in food preparation, handling, and serving; provide courteous service to patrons.
- Care for and use food‑service equipment such as meat slicer, mixing machine, steam cookers, and beverage machines.
- Perform additional work as assigned by management.
Physical Demands
- Move or lift loads up to 50 lbs; perform push/pull with items up to 30 lbs.
- Engage in repetitive motion of wrists, arms, and shoulders; require hand and finger coordination.
- Reach, climb, balance, crouch, twist, crawl, and kneel.
- Work in noisy, hot or cold environments with chemicals, cleaning equipment, dust, fumes, and odors.
- Stand for long periods of time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Knowledge of safe food‑handling practices and food‑preparation methods.
