Job description

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Full-time Rotating Shift Food Service Worker II (Team Lead) for Food Services.

Acts as Lead person, leading Food Service Workers in daily food and tray line setup, service, and cleanup/sanitation. Helps train new staff, conducts inventory, assigns tasks, monitors portion control, and ensures service areas and equipment are sanitized and cleaned. Ensures procedures for recipes, menus, quality, and safe food handling guidelines are followed.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Certified Food Service Handlers Card (as required by local Health Department).
2. High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
3. Food Service Handlers Card (Required upon hire).
4. At least 2 Years of Food Service Experience (Required).
5. Previous Team Lead Experience (Preferred).
