This position involves manual and semi-skilled work in food service, including assisting cooks, serving foods, cleaning, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service. Responsibilities include supervising subordinate food service workers, instructing on dining hall techniques, and ensuring patrons are served courteously.
The role requires physical ability to move loads up to 50 lbs, work in noisy and hot/cold environments, and stand for long hours. Basic math skills and knowledge of health hazards in food prep are necessary. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent.
