Job Details

• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Location: Community Hospital - 4900 Broad Road, Syracuse, NY 13215. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. 11:30 am to 8:30 pm, days may vary; rotating weekends required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous food service experience is preferred.
• Pay Rate: $16.65 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure ingredients.
• Transport food to and from work stations following safety standards.
• Store food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies and utensils.
• Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper portioning.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
• Resolve customer concerns and communicate with supervisors.
• Follow sanitation and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
