Position Overview: Food Service Worker

The Food Service Worker may work at any location where food is prepared on our property. Responsibilities include assisting in the setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations, and maintaining kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and store hot and cold foods following recipes and using kitchen equipment.
  2. Set up, serve, and replenish food at stations.
  3. Assist customers as needed.
  4. Maintain inventory, restock supplies, and keep records for supplies and equipment.
  5. Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and equipment.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  7. Perform general cleaning tasks, including dishwashing, polishing silverware, sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
  8. Attend required training sessions, safety meetings, and hazard assessments.
  9. Assist with trayline food distribution as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: 1 year of food service experience.
Additional Information
  • Part-Time: 30 hours weekly.
  • Evening Shift: 1 pm - 9 pm (4 days a week) or 4 pm - 9 pm (5 days a week).
  • Must be available on weekends and holidays.
  • Patient services experience is a plus.

Compensation is based on work experience, qualifications, and work location.
