+ We are hiring immediately for part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions.

+ Location: Rochester Community Schools - 52585 Dequindre Road, Rochester, MI 48307. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Part-time; Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: Prior food service and cashier experience preferred but not required.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties and general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables; measure ingredients.
2. Transport food, supplies, and utensils safely.
3. Store foods properly according to safety and rotation procedures.
4. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
6. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
7. Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
8. Interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally.
9. Relay information to supervisors.
10. Handle sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and issuing receipts.
11. Manage cash drawer, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards.
12. Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintain cleanliness.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
