• We are hiring immediately for a full-time and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER position.
• Location: Crate & Barrel - 1250 Techny Road, Northbrook, IL 60062. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior food service or cook experience is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Food prep: washing, peeling, cutting, seeding fruits and vegetables, weighing ingredients.
• Transporting food and supplies safely.
• Storing foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleaning work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensuring sanitation and safety compliance.
• Using recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Serving customers courteously, resolving complaints.
• Relaying information to supervisors.
• Processing sales transactions accurately, handling cash and payment methods.
• Issuing receipts, managing change funds, and cash drawer compliance.
• Replenishing supplies and maintaining cleanliness.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
