• We are hiring immediately for a part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER position.
• Location: Airport Community Schools - 11270 Grafton Road, Carleton, MI 48117. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time; Days may vary. 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: No prior experience required.
• Perks: Willing to train!
• Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, general food service work, and maintains sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare food items such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables.
2. Transport food and supplies safely between stations.
3. Store foods properly following safety protocols.
4. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
6. Use recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
7. Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
8. Handle customer interactions and resolve complaints professionally.
9. Relay relevant information to supervisors.
10. Perform sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and issuing receipts.
11. Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of service areas.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
