We are hiring immediately for a full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER position.

Location: C&S Westfield - 53 Summit Lock Road, Westfield, MA 01085. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:00 am. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior grill experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Measure ingredients.
• Transport food, supplies, and utensils safely.
• Store foods properly, adhering to safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
• Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints positively.
• Relay relevant information to supervisors.
• Perform sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and accepting various payment methods.
• Issue receipts and handle refunds according to procedures.
• Manage assigned cash drawers, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenish condiments and supplies while maintaining cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
