Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from stations, stove, and refrigerator, following safety standards. Distributes supplies, utensils, and equipment.
• Stores foods properly, adhering to wrapping, dating, and safety procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensures sanitation and safety compliance.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Serves customers courteously and efficiently, following service steps.
• Interacts with and resolves customer complaints kindly.
• Relays information to supervisors.
• Performs sales transactions and records them accurately.
• Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
• Handles cash and ensures compliance with cash standards.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies, maintaining cleanliness.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
