We are hiring immediately for a part-time Food Service Worker/Cashier position.

Location: Fed Ex Indy - 6648 South Perimeter Road, Indianapolis, IN 46241. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time. Monday, 7:00 am to 12:00 pm; Tuesday through Thursday and Saturday, 10:00 am to 3:15 pm; more details upon interview.

Requirements: Previous cash handling experience required.

Pay Range: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties and general food service work, maintaining sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare food by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Transport food, supplies, utensils, and equipment safely.
• Store foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
• Follow recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently, resolving complaints amicably.
• Relay relevant information to supervisors.
• Handle sales transactions, including entering sales, making change, accepting various payment methods, and issuing receipts.
• Manage cash drawer and change funds responsibly.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies, maintaining cleanliness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
