We are hiring immediately for seasonal Food Service Worker/Cashier positions at Marcellus Community Schools, located at 303 West Arbor Street, Marcellus, MI 49067. Please note that online applications are accepted only.

Requirements: Prior customer service experience is preferred. Willing to train new employees.

Pay Range: $14.50 to $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

The role involves cashiering duties, general food service work, and maintaining sanitation standards in food preparation and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables, and measuring ingredients.
2. Transport food, supplies, and equipment safely.
3. Store foods properly, adhering to safety and rotation procedures.
4. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
5. Ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
6. Serve customers efficiently and courteously, resolving complaints as needed.
7. Handle sales transactions accurately, including issuing receipts and managing cash.
8. Manage cash drawer and change funds responsibly.
9. Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness in service areas.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
