Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards. Distributes supplies, utensils, and equipment.
• Stores foods properly, adhering to wrapping, dating, and food safety procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serves customers courteously, following steps of service.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints professionally.
• Relays relevant information to supervisors.
• Performs sales transactions accurately, including making change and processing payments.
• Issues receipts and handles cash according to procedures.
• Replenishes condiments and supplies, maintaining cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
