We are hiring immediately for a full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER position.

Location: Baxter Deerfield - 1 Baxter Parkway, Deerfield, IL 60015. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous food service experience preferred but not required.

Job Summary

Performs cashier duties, general food service work, and maintains sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables.
• Transport food, supplies, and equipment safely between stations.
• Store foods properly, adhering to safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
• Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
• Interact with customers, resolve complaints amicably.
• Relay information to supervisors.
• Perform sales transactions accurately, handle cash, and issue receipts.
• Manage change funds and cash receipts, maintaining compliance.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
