Description

The Thomson Hood Veterans Center is looking for a self‑motivated, energetic Food Service Worker who possesses the desire to care for Kentucky’s Veterans.

• Assist in preparing and serving meals.
• Maintain dietary work areas equipment and utensils in a safe clean and sanitary condition.
• Transport food and set up Buffet lines.
• Ensure scheduled cleaning duties (dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, etc.) are completed.
• Dispose of food and waste in accordance with rules and regulations.

This position has an approved Locality Premium of $4.98, based on the organizational structure and work county it is currently assigned to, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).
