Job summary

Bellows Air Force Station's Bruddah's Brew House is seeking staff for a non-appropriated fund cafe position on Oahu. The role requires following simple instructions and operating basic kitchen appliances, with a focus on accuracy, speed, and friendly service.

You will handle cash payments, follow recipes and portion controls, and assist customers while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Some evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required; applicants must meet eligibility and pass a food

Qualifications

• Must follow simple written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to use cooking tools and operate simple kitchen appliances or machines, i.e. coffee, toaster, etc.
• Must be skilled in doing tasks with several steps and using judgment in sequencing tasks.
• Must have experience handling cash, credit card and/or check payment.
• Must pass a food handlers test.
• Must be physically able to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty (evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English clearly.
• Must be able to follow recipe cards, and measure correct proportions and mixes as directed.
• Must have customer service experience.

About the position:

This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Bruddah's Brew House on Bellows Air Station.
