Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Full-Time, Rotating Shift Food Service Worker.

Position Details:

1. Full-time, rotating shifts, including every other weekend and rotating holidays.
2. Up to $1,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include:

• Basic food preparation and service, ensuring accurate portions.
• Providing necessary equipment and supplies.
• Maintaining sanitation of all service areas and equipment.
• Following departmental procedures for recipes, menus, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
• Supporting the delivery of nutritious meals and excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
• Preparing and assembling food according to dietary guidelines, safety, and customer preferences.
• Maintaining cleanliness in kitchens and dining areas, washing dishes, working as a cashier, and meeting utility needs.
• Upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience in lieu of degree/diploma accepted.
• Food Handlers Card / Food Service Certification as required by local health department.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
